Happy miracle Thursday as we continue; how close are you to God week? This scripture says open your mouth wide, and I will fill it; this means God has something for us. It means we have to be able to accept His spiritual food. This is an invitation that we need to show up to His feeding station and be open to what He will serve us. But we must be eager and willing. We have to be in a place where nothing matters but being at the feet of Jesus. We must be desperate for Him. Desperate for his presence, desperate for his spiritual food, desperate to be close to his heart. The question is, how desperate are you to get close to God? He gave us a promise he’ll give us what we needed. God gives us what men cannot give us. Today let’s search our hearts and see where we stand when it comes to having a full desire to be with Jesus. Have you ever heard the saying, no one can do me like Jesus? This means no one will fully satisfy me in the way that Jesus can. This is the place we need to search where a now as we want to be right there with God.
